Made With Love Recipe: Honey Black Pepper Chicken Satay

I think we can call this the healthified recipe for chicken satay. Juicy, tender, yummy and best of all, wholesome! Chicken breasts are the leanest part of the chicken and the best source of protein.
We made them during our Thank You dinner for our Uphoria! volunteers and everyone absolutely loved them!

INGREDIENTS:
1 kg of chicken breast
5 tablespoons honey
2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoon black pepper
Juice and zest of half a lemon
RECIPE: 
Skin and remove excess fat on the chicken breast.
In a large bowl marinate the chicken in honey, salt, black pepper and lemon juice and zest. Leave in the fridge for a few hours or overnight.
Skewer the chicken on satay sticks.
Grill over a BBQ pit of in a pan with a splash of olive oil until golden brown all around and cook through. (Check if the chicken is cooked by slicing it in half, it should be completely white without pale pink spots)

Serves: 5 – 10
Proportionally divide ingredients to decrease number of servings.
