Made With Love Recipe: Black Bean Brownies

Don’t be fooled by these heavenly brownies – they’re healthier than you think! Black beans make for an unconventional, high-fibre protein source. Use vegan dark chocolate for a veg-friendly treat!
Ingredients:
1 ½ cups of cooked black beans
½ cup of instant oats a pinch of salt
1/3 cup of honey
2 tsp vanilla extract
½ tsp baking powder
1 tb olive oil
70g dark chocolate
Recipe:
1. Melt dark chocolate over a double boiler.
2. Blend all ingredients in a food processor.
3. Stir in 1/3 cup of chocolate chips.
4. Preheat oven to 175 degrees Celsius.
5. Pour mixture in a 7×11 brownie pan lined with parchment paper. Bake for about 16 minutes.
6. Cool them in the pan overnight, or for at least a few hours for them to cool down. That way they’ll cut nicely without crumbling.
